Great Kit. I had some minor difficulty putting the case together (one piece flipped upside down wouldn't let the mircousb plug fit), but after fixing it works great. The keyboard is a bit small but works well. I actually use it headless but I love the case. I've been monitoring temperatures of the device and it has averaged about 35'C for CPU and GPU. So i think the fan is actually having a cooling effect. Another pi that i have is about 10' warmer.

This is a pretty handy kit for the raspberry pi. It has everything you will need for the various projects that you can build with the device. The case is very sturdy and fits both the Rapberry Pi 2 and the 3. It comes with heat sinks for the power hungry 3 model and the fan keeps it very cool. The fan could be a little less noisy but it functions great. The switch on the power cord is great and eliminates the need for making your own on/off button. The keyboard is tiny but works well. I recommend this kit to any project builders out there.

This is really a great product. I have a raspberry pi model B but I already have a case for it but I wanted a raspberry pi 3 model B. So, I bought the raspberry pi 3 and I ordered the case also. I was so stoked about the whole thing and just couldn't wait. This is the review about the kit which included a case, a fan, heat sinks, and a power cord with an on/off switch. On my raspberry pi model B I only have a case. I wanted to make the raspberry pi 3 stays cool because I planned doing some heavy stuff that could possibly run it hot. So, the heat sinks and the fans were perfect. I'm very glad for the on/off switch also. Now, about the case... First there isn't any instructions but I was able to figure it out. This case comes in layers but it's assembled when you get it. You would need to remove the 4 plastic nuts and bolts and take it apart to put a pi in it. It can be a little tricky but I figured it out. If you aren't familiar with the gpio pins on the pi then google which pins on the pi to use for the fan. You would use the 5v and gnd in which red wire goes on 5v and black goes on gnd. The heat sinks uses double stick tape rather than silicone like a regular PC heat sink. It works great though. Power cord works as expected. Note: the power cord needs to plug in via USB so it would have been nice to provide a power block but I had one so no biggie. Also, a lot of TVs have built in USB port so that works great also. You have to watch that though and make sure the port outputs at least 5v or you will have trouble with the pi freezing and randomly restarting when doing some intensive processing. The case fits great and I love the clear and black color of it.
