We produce this board based on the open-source official schematics.
The printing or color on the board may be different from each production date, but the function is exactly the same.

New features for Reversion 3 of the board has the following new features:
● 1.0 pinout: added SDA and SCL pins that are near to the AREF pin and two other new pins placed near to the RESET pin, the IOREF that allow the shields to adapt to the voltage provided from the board. In future, shields will be compatible both with the board that use the AVR, which operate with 5V and with the Due that operate with 3.3V. The second one is a not connected pin, that is reserved for future purposes..
● Stronger RESET circuit.
● Atmega 16U2 replace the 8U2.

This Arduino Mega 2560 board works perfect. My only issue was to add a rule '/etc/udev/rules.d' to the 'Modemmanager' so that Ubuntu (not a problem with the board, only my Linux computer) will ignore this board and allow the USB port to be used. The details of the VendorId and ProductId can be found using 'lsusb'.

I bought this for my son, who is a 12-year-old Arduino fanatic. He wanted me to include the following in my review of the product. "The product arrived in very nice shape. I tested all the pins and they all work perfectly. I also bent the cords around to see how sturdy they are and they still worked perfectly, even after a bit of 'wear and tear.' It is very well labelled, also. Everything has a label on it, saying exactly what each part is. It is an ideal kit for developing electronics. Assuming that most beginners start with the basic Arduino, this is perfect for both intermediate and expert users."
